If recent reports from Boston are accurate, suggesting Bill Belichick might depart as the coach of the Patriots, it would be logical for the Eagles to consider hiring him for the next season. Nick Sirianni has been overwhelmed with ridiculous assistant hires, game plans, in-game decisions, and more.

It would indeed be a stroke of genius if Howie Roseman and Jeff Lurie pursued this hiring. The Eagles are in dire need of a coach who commands respect from the players, someone capable of assembling a competent coaching staff and guiding the team to Super Bowl contention.

An NFL executive, several weeks ago, referred to the Eagles as ‘a clown show,’ pointing out Sirianni’s clownish behavior. This era would undoubtedly come to an end with Belichick’s potential hiring. Additionally, having a six-time Super Bowl champion at the helm would attract top-tier free agents to the Eagles.
