Jalen Hurts seems to be grappling with excessive pressure at the start of games. This 'playing up to a standard' appears linked to the weight of his substantial contract, adding immense pressure and impacting his performance. It's undeniable that he had his worst half ever against the Bills – a zero or a seven QBR in the first half? This is something truly incredible and unheard of.

While I've never treated him personally, I believe he could benefit from working with a sports psychiatrist or psychologist. Such professionals could help him channel his second-half mentality (such as when trailing by double digits) right from the opening kickoff.

He needs to exhibit heightened aggression from the get-go. He seems to teeter between David Carr's potential and Marcus Hayes' perception of him as 'ordinary or worse,' leaning closer to Carr's potential, as evidenced in the Niners game.

My hope is that he enters games with a fired-up attitude, taking significant risks, especially against the Cowboys, adopting a 'nothing to lose' mentality from the start.
