If they are not already signed, Howie Roseman should breathe deeply and draft Antoine Winfield or Justin Blackman. Both are really good safeties. I think that one of the many reasons Sleigh and Bradberry had poor seasons is because of the safety situation. Having solid safeties as they did two seasons ago, veterans, no less, would stabilize these guys.
Brown would be too much of a risk, and he’s still too raw, though he has potential as a playmaker. Every single free agent acquisition has to be a playmaker, particularly on defense, as there were very few of them last year.
