As the trade deadline approaches, all players are affected, but none more than players who are under performing. Whether they are considered trade pieces, or not, the fact that players are going to be moved affects everyone subconsciously.

Players who are under performing may suddenly have multi hit games. This is evident with the Phillies, where Didi Gregorius and Nick Castellanos, who are both in slumps, have been hitting well lately.
