I'm relieved that the media is finally acknowledging Nick Sirianni's struggle to multitask. Sirianni seems overwhelmed, and he's aware of it. This role marks his first experience as a head coach at any level.

His two hires this season, Sean DeSai and Brian Johnson, have shown incompetence, both lacking prior experience at their current level.

The panic mode kicked in after the San Francisco and Dallas losses, which was only worsened by the defeat against Seattle.

Plenty of blame circulates. Jeff Lurie and Howie Roseman shouldn't have appointed someone so inexperienced after Doug Peterson set such a high bar.

As a sports psychiatrist, I find it perplexing that a head coach lacks more stress management techniques at his disposal. He's in a high-performance role under intense scrutiny, just like each of his players. The coach must lead by example in handling stress. If the Eagles are to have a chance, he needs to project calmness and control, even if he feels overwhelmed. All players must learn stress management techniques, and the coach must model them.

Observing the team's performance and reading quotes from discontented players, I'm convinced there's a crisis of trust in both the head coach and the front office. The players sense a drift, resulting in a lack of team cohesion.

Approaching the playoffs, they aren't the unified team necessary for success. In fact, they lack cohesion altogether. This disunity will likely prevent them from beating a playoff team, leading to an early exit.
