Vulnerabilities in Linebacker Position: Eagles' Risky Defensive Strategy Unfolds

The general manager left the linebacker position vulnerable to injuries, excessively reliant on 'hope.' Inexplicably, he allowed two good linebackers, TJ Edwards and Alex Singleton, both having excellent seasons elsewhere, to depart.
Instead of securing the linebacker corps, he banked on Nakobe Dean avoiding injury and Zach Cunningham staying healthy. Predictably, both got injured, leaving the backups incredibly thin. It's unacceptable in the NFL to leave a contending team, especially one with an already shaky defense, so exposed.
While Roseman receives credit for some astute moves, his decision-making, like attempting to replace Jordan Davis internally last year, cost the Eagles two games until he finally acquired Linval Joseph and Ndamukong Suh.
I doubt Shaq Leonard can quickly acclimate with just a few practices. His performance, or lack thereof, with the Colts prior to his release indicates he might not be up to his old standard.
Dak Prescott may exploit the linebacker vulnerability, just as Brock Purdy did, leading to a similar outcome.
