What is it with Rob Thompson? He had one nothing lead after 5 1/3 innings just like in the World Series last year. Suarez was under 70 pitches but was pulled, Thompson just can’t stand success. And he has to put Orion in a high high leverage situation that he’s never been in before, and is not equipped, as far as anyone really knows, to handle it. Sure enough, Orion can’t hold. He gives up the tying run. As I’ve said, all along, they have no bullpen, and they have no closure.

I think Kimbrel‘s proving me right. Unless he has a one weeks rest, he isn’t even average. They are in trouble, they might lose the next two and go back to Philly down 3 to 2. This was a gut rancher.
