Will Lorenzen Struggle After 124 Pitches?

As a physician and sports psychiatrist, I am concerned that Michael Lorenzen may struggle to maintain the form he had when he joined the Phillies due to the 124 pitches he threw in his no-hitter.
Yes, everyone loves witnessing a no-hitter, and it's every pitcher's dream. However, the Phillies have grander aspirations, aiming to return to the World Series. Lorenzen appeared to be a legitimate star, possibly slotting in as a number two or even number one pitcher. Unfortunately, his last start was a disappointment, which has been a recurring pattern with pitchers who have thrown such a high pitch count in recent years. If he continues to struggle to regain his form, Thompson's job should be called into question.
In my opinion, this decision was ill-advised. A limit of 100 pitches should have been imposed. Lorenzen had already thrown the most innings in MLB up to that point. What a valuable resource to risk in pursuit of perfection.
